Medical Assistance Systems
Showroom “Interactive Assistance in Medicine and Care” at the Innovation Festival 2025
On Thursday, September 18, our showroom was part of the Innovation Festival 2025 in Bielefeld.
For the first time, the festival brought together companies, research institutions, and start-ups from the region to showcase and experience new ideas, technologies, and projects centered around innovation. As part of the event, we presented various technological support systems for everyone interested in new technologies in the fields of medicine and care. The exhibits included research prototypes from our working groups as well as commercial products, such as:
- Systems for people with dementia that promote communication, cognition, and motor skills, thereby contributing to improved well-being
- An attention trainer with a virtual agent designed to support people with ADHD
- The robot NAO, which is being studied in the context of robot-assisted sports and movement therapy for children and adolescents
We are particularly pleased about the participation of the Cognitive Systems and Social Interaction group led by Stefan Kopp, who presented their demonstrator ASCODI – an AI tool for the explainability of diagnoses, developed to assist physicians in the diagnostic process.
A heartfelt thank-you to all the guests who visited us in our showroom!
