Research in Everyday Life: Sinem Görmez in the “Science irl” Video Series
In Bielefeld University’s LinkedIn video series “Science irl,” Sinem Görmez from our Medical Assistance Systems Research Group provides insights into her research.
The video explores how robots can explain tasks in a way that humans can easily understand—especially when negations come into play, such as “don’t press the red button.” Such phrasing is often difficult to process in everyday life, yet it can be essential and helpful in explanations.
This is exactly what Sinem is investigating as part of the TRR 318 “Constructing Explainability” project, together with the humanoid robot NAO.
