Medical Assistance Systems

The new interdisciplinary research project X-DeePedMYO has been launched.

At the kick-off meeting on September 1st, participants included, among others, Atousa Amadi, Prof. Dr.-Ing. Britta Wrede and Dr.-Ing. Birte Richter. The project aims to improve the diagnosis of myocarditis in children using MRI images and Artificial Intelligence (AI). A particular focus is on integrating cardiac functional parameters and applying explainable AI (XAI) to ensure transparent and trustworthy diagnoses.
