Funding for GAZE-AID: Technology-Based ADHD Diagnosis for Individuals with Intellectual Disabilities
We are pleased to announce that the GAZE-AID research project is being funded by the Medical Research Seed Fund (AMF).
The aim of the project is to improve ADHD diagnosis in individuals with intellectual disabilities through the use of eye-tracking technology – objective, non-invasive, and independent of verbal abilities or third-party assessments. Traditional diagnostic methods often reach their limits within this target group. GAZE-AID seeks to address this with an innovative approach that enables reliable diagnoses, helps avoid overmedication, and ultimately improves the quality of life for those affected.
