🎓 Was ist „Beca Colombia“?

„Beca Colombia 2025-2“ ist ein Stipendienprogramm des kolumbianischen Instituts ICETEX, unterstützt von der Botschaft der Republik Kolumbien in Deutschland. Ziel ist es, ausländischen Studierenden ein Masterstudium an öffentlichen oder privaten Hochschulen in Kolumbien zu ermöglichen – mit umfassender finanzieller Unterstützung. Die aktuelle Ausschreibung wurde auf Anweisung der kolumbianischen Botschafterin in Deutschland veröffentlicht, um gezielt Studierende aus Deutschland und anderen Ländern Europas zu erreichen.

✅ Was wird gefördert?

Das Stipendium deckt:

• 100 % der Studiengebühren an der kolumbianischen Hochschule
• Krankenversicherung für medizinische Versorgung und Krankenhausaufenthalte in Kolumbien
• Kosten für Visum (Höflichkeitsvisum) und Aufenthaltserlaubnis (Ausweis/Cédula de Extranjería)

🧾 Wer kann sich bewerben?

Das Stipendium richtet sich an ausländische Staatsangehörige, die:

• unter 50 Jahre alt sind
• nicht die kolumbianische Staatsbürgerschaft besitzen (auch nicht doppelt)
• nicht in Kolumbien leben oder in den letzten sechs Monaten vor der Bewerbung dort gewohnt haben
• bereits einen Bachelorabschluss haben
• einen Notendurchschnitt von mindestens 4,0 (kolumbianische Skala) vorweisen
• bereits für ein Masterprogramm in Kolumbien zugelassen wurden (siehe Katalog)

Are you interested in a Master's programme abroad - and can you imagine studying in one of the most diverse and exciting countries in Latin America? Then watch out: The Colombian government is awarding the "Beca Colombia 2025-2" scholarship, a full scholarship for international students!

🎓 What is ‘Beca Colombia’?

‘Beca Colombia 2025-2’ is a scholarship programme of the Colombian institute ICETEX, supported by the Embassy of the Republic of Colombia in Germany. The aim of the programme is to enable foreign students to study for a Master's degree at public or private universities in Colombia - with comprehensive financial support. The current call for applications was published on the instructions of the Colombian ambassador in Germany in order to specifically target students from Germany and other European countries.

✅ What will be funded?

The scholarship covers:

• 100% of the tuition fees at the Colombian university
• Health insurance for medical care and hospitalisation in Colombia
• Costs for visa (courtesy visa) and residence permit (identity card/Cédula de Extranjería)

🗓️ Important dates

• Application deadline: 13 June 2025, 5:00 pm
• Selection results: 24 June 2025
• Acceptance: 26-27 June 2025
• Start of studies: depending on university and degree programme

The scholarship is aimed at foreign nationals who:

• are under 50 years old
• do not have Colombian citizenship (including dual citizenship)
• do not live in Colombia or have lived there for the last six months before applying
• already have a Bachelor's degree
• have a grade point average of at least 4.0 (Colombian scale)
• have already been admitted to a Master's programme in Colombia (see catalogue)
