🌏 Was ist SCHULWÄRTS!?

SCHULWÄRTS! bietet Lehramtsstudierenden und (angehenden) Lehrkräften die Möglichkeit, praktische Unterrichtserfahrungen an vom Goethe-Institut betreuten Schulen weltweit zu sammeln. Ob in Europa, Asien, Afrika oder bald auch in Kanada und den USA – das Programm eröffnet dir neue Perspektiven auf Bildung, Sprache und Kultur.

👩‍🏫 Wer kann sich bewerben?

Mitmachen können:

• Lehramtsstudierende aller Schulformen und Fächerkombinationen (Bachelor, Master, Staatsexamen)
• Angehende Lehrkräfte – vor oder nach dem Referendariat
• Lehrkräfte im Schuldienst bis 35 Jahre

Voraussetzung sind gute Fremdsprachenkenntnisse (mind. B2 Englisch oder Kenntnisse in der Sprache des Ziellandes). Eine deutsche Staatsbürgerschaft oder ein Studium in Deutschland sind nicht erforderlich!

SCHULWÄRTS! legt großen Wert auf Diversität. Besonders willkommen sind Bewerbungen von Lehramtsstudierenden der Berufsschule oder Sekundarstufe I, mit nicht-philologischen Fächern, sowie von Menschen aller kulturellen Hintergründe, Religionen, Geschlechter, Weltanschauungen und Identitäten. Kurz gesagt: Alle, die Lust auf Lehren und Lernen im Ausland haben, sind eingeladen, sich zu bewerben!

Are you studying to become a teacher and would like to get a taste of international school life during your studies? Then SCHULWÄRTS! is just right for you! The Goethe-Institut project arranges and supports two- to four-month school internships abroad – in over 40 countries worldwide.

The application phase for internships abroad in 2026 is now open – so secure your place now!

🌏 What is SCHULWÄRTS!?

SCHULWÄRTS! offers teacher training students and (prospective) teachers the opportunity to gain practical teaching experience at schools worldwide that are supported by the Goethe-Institut. Whether in Europe, Asia, Africa or soon also in Canada and the USA – the programme opens up new perspectives on education, language and culture.

👩‍🏫 Who can apply?

The following individuals are eligible to participate:

• Teacher training students of all school types and subject combinations (bachelor's, master's, state examination)
• Prospective teachers – before or after their teaching internship
• Teachers in the school system up to the age of 35

Good language skills (at least B2 English or knowledge of the language of the target country) are required. German citizenship or a degree from a German university are not required!

🌈 Diversity welcome!

SCHULWÄRTS! attaches great importance to diversity. They particularly welcome applications from teacher training students at vocational schools or secondary schools, with non-philological subjects, as well as from people of all cultural backgrounds, religions, genders, world views and identities. In short: anyone who is interested in teaching and learning abroad is invited to apply!
