In Zusammenarbeit mit der University of Maryland, College Park lädt Fulbright Germany engagierte deutsche Bachelorstudierende mit Migrationshintergrund ein, sich für das interdisziplinäre Programm Diversity Initiative zu bewerben.

In der Metropolregion Washington, D.C. und Baltimore haben Teilnehmende die Möglichkeit, sich intensiv mit den Konzepten zu Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) auseinanderzusetzen.

Während des vierwöchigen Programms erwerben sie Kenntnisse in vier miteinander verknüpften Modulen: „Intro to DEI and Cultural Awareness“, „Exploring Privileges and Microaggressions“, „Leadership“ und „Community Engagement“. Dozierende der University of Maryland, College Park vermitteln theoretisches Wissen verbunden mit praktischen Erfahrungen.

In cooperation with the University of Maryland, College Park, Fulbright Germany invites committed German bachelor students with a migration background to apply for the interdisciplinary Diversity Initiative programme.

In the Washington, D.C. and Baltimore metropolitan region, participants have the opportunity to intensively explore the concepts of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI).

During the four-week programme, they acquire knowledge in four interlinked modules: "Intro to DEI and Cultural Awareness", "Exploring Privileges and Microaggressions", "Leadership" and "Community Engagement". Lecturers from the University of Maryland, College Park impart theoretical knowledge combined with practical experience.

Programme period: 22 August to 20 September 2025
