Schule weltweit erleben

SCHULWÄRTS! vermittelt und fördert zwei- bis viermonatige Schulpraktika an Schulen in über 40 Ländern weltweit, die vom Goethe-Institut betreut werden.

Bewerben können sich:

• Lehramtsstudierende aller Schulformen und Fächerkombinationen,
• angehende Lehrkräfte sowie
• Lehrkräfte im Schuldienst bis zur Vollendung des 35. Lebensjahres.

Ein Auslandspraktikum bietet dir die Möglichkeit, internationale Unterrichtserfahrungen zu sammeln, interkulturelle Kompetenzen auszubauen und wertvolle Einblicke in den Schulalltag anderer Länder zu gewinnen.

Bewerbung und Fristen

Die Bewerbung ist ausschließlich über das Bewerbungsportal möglich und startet am 1. Oktober 2026. Der Bewerbungszeitraum endet am 31. Oktober 2026 um 23:59 Uhr.

Auf der SCHULWÄRTS!-Website findest du alle Informationen zu den Zielländern, den Teilnahmevoraussetzungen sowie zum Bewerbungsverfahren.

Digitale Informationsveranstaltungen

Zur Unterstützung aller Interessierten werden zwei unverbindliche digitale Informationstermine angeboten. In den etwa 90-minütigen Online-Veranstaltungen via Microsoft Teams wird das Programm vorgestellt, der Bewerbungsprozess erklärt und es besteht die Möglichkeit, Fragen rund um Praktikum und Förderung zu stellen. Die Termine werden rechtzeitig auf der SCHULWÄRTS!-Website bekannt gegeben.

Wichtiger Hinweis

Für Praktika im Jahr 2027 wird es nur eine reguläre Bewerbungsrunde geben. Diese umfasst alle Praktika im gesamten Kalenderjahr 2027. Wer teilnehmen möchte, sollte die Bewerbungsfrist daher unbedingt einhalten. Nutze die Chance, internationale Erfahrungen zu sammeln und deine Lehramtsausbildung um eine spannende Auslandserfahrung zu bereichern!

Would you like to gain international school experience, broaden your horizons and gain valuable practical experience abroad? If so, you should make a note of 1 October 2026: that’s when the application period for the 2027 SCHULWÄRTS! overseas work placements opens.

Experience school life around the world

SCHULWÄRTS! arranges and supports two- to four-month teaching placements at schools in over 40 countries worldwide, supervised by the Goethe-Institut.

The following are eligible to apply:

• Teacher training students for all types of school and subject combinations,
• prospective teachers,
• and teachers up to the age of 35.

An internship abroad offers you the opportunity to gain international teaching experience, develop intercultural skills and gain valuable insights into everyday school life in other countries.

Applications and deadlines

Applications can only be submitted via the application portal and will open on 1 October 2026. The application period closes at 23:59 on 31 October 2026.

Online information sessions

To support anyone interested, two non-binding online information sessions are being offered. During these online sessions, which last around 90 minutes and are held via Microsoft Teams, the programme will be presented, the application process explained, and there will be an opportunity to ask questions about the work placement and funding. The dates will be announced in good time on the SCHULWÄRTS! website.

Important notice

For work placements in 2027, there will be only one regular application round. This covers all work placements throughout 2027. Anyone wishing to take part should therefore ensure they meet the application deadline.
